Venous System

Venous-system
Venous system
The body (cells, tissues and organs) returned deoxygenated blood into vein. All veins carry deoxygenated blood except pulmonary vein. Superior venacava, inferior venacava and coronary sinus are three main veins. These veins draw the deoxygenated blood into right atrium

Vein has tube like structure.

The wall of vein is consists with three membrane

Tunica adventitia – Outer fibrous membrane
Tunica media – Middle muscle membrane
Tunica intima – Inner serous membrane

Veins are three types

  1. Coronary sinus
  2. Superior venacava
  3. Inferior venacava
