Pharmacology means-

Pharmakon - medicine or drug

logy - study of

the science that deals with the effect and uses of drugs in the treatment of disease is called pharmacology.

Pharmacology is the science of drugs.

Pharmacology deals with interaction of exogenously administered chemical molecules (medicine) with living system.
