What is Xenotransplantation

Xenotransplantation means-

Xeno - strange, foreign

Xenotransplantation is, the replacement of a diseased or injured tissue or organ with cells or tissues from an animal.

Procine (from pigs) and bovine (from cow) heart valves are used for some heart-valve replacement surgeries.
